Why did I start this business?
I’ll admit it – I was an arrogant college graduate. I thought the working world would automatically open its arms to me and offer me a big salary just because I had a college degree. I was very, very wrong. I realized the working world was different from the academic world. It was not a seamless transition. I struggled financially during my 20s because I didn’t know what I was doing wrong and trying to figure it out was time-consuming and frustrating. I finally realized that there is an art to resume writing and interviewing. Therefore, I’m here to help you. My goal is to give you as much information as possible to get your resume reviewed, get scheduled for an interview, and to, hopefully, get a job offer, thus reducing your financial stress, increase your self-confidence, and start your career without experiencing the frustrations I did.
When I was in my early 20s, there were no companies that I could turn to, at a reasonable price, to help me with my career. Most career consulting companies charge $1,500 on up and they give you personality tests to find your career aptitude – I didn’t need that type of service. I was not interested in finding out who I was or what career path I should take. I simply needed a good job to pay my bills and start my upward career trajectory. It took me years to figure it out. I wish I knew in my early 20s what I know now.

I offer straight-forward, basic information, where I provide you the sample questions and answers, along with a professional summary, that you can use for the rest of your career. My goal is to give you the information to move your career knowledge forward by 5 to 10 years. Don’t spend the next few months or years trying to figure out what you’re doing wrong. I will tell you what I think is the right way to give you more confidence as you apply for jobs and interview for the job you want by knowing what to expect.
